OMG THIS IS THE SPOT!!! WANT SOME GOOD TASTING HOT POT!???? This is the place!!! My expectations were pretty slim since a lot of the hot pot places in Reno are just meh but right when we got seated I knew that this place was it. The lady who served us was so polite and just beautiful! The hot pot came out fairly quick and omg the flavor!! Obviously some of the sides in the soup weren't for me but that's not even a problem it was so good. The place is so clean and they play catchy music, I was really happy I found this place because it was so chill , nice and relaxing. I def will be coming back and I recommend!!

Very surprised to find this chain in the Reno area! Did a quick yelp search while I was in the area and found out they had newly opened, as most of the locations I've been to are located in California. Had a party of 8 and the whole staff was super patient and super friendly with us! They were super attentive and always came around to refill our waters and checked on us the whole time. The food was fresh and delicious as expected. Restaurant was super clean and spacious and a great place to eat!

I'm really glad there's a decent hotpot place in Reno now! Their flavors are great, and the service is quick and friendly. The inside is also new and quite clean. As for the food, I don't prefer to have pre-made hotpot (I like ayce), but I still like the menu. The appetizers and boba are solid too. I can eat pretty good, but I'd still suggest sharing these hotpots; it's just way too much for one person unless you like taking hotpot leftovers home. Overall, it's not the best I've ever had but I'd still recommend, and I think it's a great intro to hotpot if you haven't had any!

I was so excited for Tasty Pot to open and it did not disappoint! I'm a big fan of Boiling Point but the closest one is in California. Like Boiling Point, Tasty Pot is a individual Taiwanese hotpot restaurant but unlike Boiling Point they also offer hibachi. My first time, I ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. Not only were our soups in spill proof containers, they came piping hot and did not need to be reheated as I had anticipated! My first time at the restaurant a group of three of us went during lunchtime on a weekday and didn't have to wait at all. The place is very spacious and the service is friendly. I ordered the #1 Beef Hot Soup with mild spice and we added fuzhou fishballs for the table as well as the popcorn chicken as an appetizer. I also love that there are a variety of sauces at the table My bowl wasn't too spicy and I'd be comfortable moving up to medium spice next time, but the fuzhou fishballs were a fun addition. Be careful when eating them as they are filled with hot fish roe in the middles! While my friends' bowls were piping hot, mine was struggling to light and the waitress kindly took it and replaced the heating mechanism. They will also add more soup to your bowl if you start running low! The popcorn chicken was hot and crispy and tasted just like at your favorite boba joint. In addition to my meal I also added the passionfruit green tea which was cold, refreshing, and complimented the hot soup wonderfully. Overall, it's a bit on the pricey side, but I would be happy to be back for the great food and great service!

Okay, I usually don't do reviews, but I HAVE to for Tasty Pot This place exceeded my expectations. I'm from Vegas and this restaurant was better than any hot pot I've had in Vegas for a long time. The service was excellent, the food was immaculate, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place deserves a line out the door!! If you were thinking about coming here, don't second guess yourself. Grab a friend and come! This is my new favorite restaurant in Reno and I will definitely be coming back.

I forgot to take photos, but I enjoyed my first meal at Tasty Pot! I've been interested in trying it since I attended the Yelp Reno Food Crawl earlier this year. At the food crawl I sampled the popcorn chicken and the friend rice and I knew I wanted to come back. The place was pretty quiet around 6 o'clock on a Friday but two large parties showed up around 7pm. I started with the popcorn chicken and it did not disappoint! In my opinion, the seasoning used on the chicken is to. die. for. I ordered the chicken and filet hibachi combo (I've never had hot pot and wasn't feeling adventurous) and it was delicious! The chicken, filet (requested medium rare) and vegetables were flavorful and cooked perfectly. I upgraded to fried rice and the upcharge ($5) was a little steep in my opinion. It was a good serving though- I saved half for leftovers. My friend got the Japanese Miso hot pot and it had just about everything you could imagine in it. It was also a huge serving so they were able to take some home. As far as I know, this place is pretty new so there are some kinks to be worked out with the service but everyone was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is in a bit of an odd location, but I hope they stick it out and do well! I will be back :)

Joined a group of friends for my first hot pot experience and wasn't disappointed. Ordered the Kimchi dumpling hot pot with vermicelli and while there were a few things I wasn't a fan of (mostly texture), I liked nearly everything in my bowl. I also ordered a traditional Thai Tea. Each hot pot comes with its own flame and the liquid is legit boiling when it arrives at the table. Turning the flame off allows things to cool down enough for you to eat over the span of your meal. The portion is huge, I don't know that I even put a dent in the regular size. Really looking forward to going back to Tasty Pot and trying other flavors.

The recent Yelp Elite food crawl through Midtown showed me several places that I had never been to before. One that we've already tried is the Tasty Pot. We both had bowls. Mine was lamb, hers was beef. They were fabulous. I didn't know there was a burner underneath the bowl keeping it hot, so halfway through my meal, it started bubbling. I had to ask him to come turn it down so it was cool enough to eat! Both dinners were very flavorful. You get your choice of white rice or rice vermicelli. We tried both. On the side there are numerous sauces and chili powders to add to your dish to get the right flavor for you. We liked it so much that we're going back this week to enjoy another meal and support a fundraiser that they're having Monday through Thursday.

Thank you Jairo for making our first time experience fun! Dined with the family this evening at Tasty Pot for the first time. Let me tell you, amazing! We all got something different, we ordered things outside our comfort zone. We ordered appetizers (popcorn chicken and calamari). Very good! We ordered a couple of pots and a hibachi shrimp and filet mignon plate for my son. All the food was beyond delicious. The table was silent, no talking when food is bomb! I highly recommend trying #1 and #7. Welcoming, excellent customer service, attentive servers and awesome music! Oh yeah, BOBA here! We got tiger, original, strawberry mango and Thai tea. All so good!
